Even if a restaurant doesn’t have outdoor dining, the following are some of the best options in the U.S. with the best views to dream about when you’re ready to go out and about again.
Six Feet Under
Six Feet Under is located in Atlanta, and there are actually two locations. Six Feet Under is known for its extensive local beer list as well as their seafood. One location of Six Feet Under is in West Midtown, and the other is in Grant Park.
Both have a rooftop bar area, but the one in West Midtown arguably has better views of the Atlanta skyline.

While it has an extensive cocktail menu, The Watch is also a full-service restaurant. You’ll find unique options like alligator corn dogs and pork belly Bolognese.
Geraldine’s
Geraldine’s is a Southern-inspired eatery on Austin’s famed Rainey Street. When you get there, you take the elevator to the building’s fourth floor. Then, you’ll often hear live music as you take a seat on the pool deck.
Geraldine’s is actually part of the Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt.
Throughout the week, there are local music acts on stage, and the menu puts a heavy emphasis on local farms in the area. You’ll also find an abundant selection of vegetarian options.
The 404 Kitchen
The 404 Kitchen is in Nashville’s ultra-trendy Gulch neighborhood. The 404 Kitchen is headed up by Executive Chef Matt Bolus, and it opened its doors around three years ago in its current location.
There is the Gertie’s Bar on the lower level of the space, the main dining room, an upper dining room referred to as The Loft, and two outside patios.
One patio is street level, and the other is on the rooftop.
The menu at The 404 Kitchen centers on modernized European dishes. There are family-style options with large cuts of meat, and southern staples like fried chicken. The drink menu includes cocktails, whiskey, and rare wine.

Departure is a restaurant in Portland with fresh takes on Asian dishes. From the Sage Restaurant Group, Sage is in the downtown area of Portland, on top of the Meier & Frank Building. The menu features street-food-inspired starters as well as sushi and rice and noodle dishes.

Edge Steak & Bar
Edge is on the seventh floor of the Four Seasons Miami. It’s a farm-to-table steakhouse that specializes in the best cuts of meat as well as the use of local seafood and seasonal produce.

Juvia
Juvia is also in Miami and brings together inspiration from Japanese, Peruvian, and French cooking.

Juvia also offers views of the Miami Harbor and the city’s skyline, and the rooftop brunch is high-energy with music from a live DJ. The indoor area of the restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows so you still get those amazing views.
Rivea
Rivea is on the 64th floor of Delano. If you go to the restaurant at dusk, you can see the city’s lights come to life. You can also see the Red Rock Conservation Area to the west, while the strip is to the east.
The food includes Riveria-inspired items that are often meant to share. You can also do a five-course tasting menu.
Rivea often offers what’s described as the best view in Las Vegas.
POV Rooftop Lounge and Terrace
POV is Washington D.C.’s place to be seen. There are stunning views of the White House as well as the monuments. POV is located on the rooftop of the W Washington D.C. hotel. You can get cocktails as well as dinner, and there are floor-to-ceiling retractable windows.
The menu includes seafood and burgers.
After 7:00 p.m., you do have to be at least 21 to enter the bar, and by 9:00 p.m. if you’re under 21, you have to leave.
